Non-Profit Activities

The goals of the non-profit side of F.R.E.S.H. include:

  • Facilitate educational programs and presentations about:
    • Food quality, nutrition, and safety,
    • Impacts of food choice on society and the environment,
    • Legal and technical issues for producers and consumers, 
    • And similar topics
  • Provide space and other resources for:
    • Open discussions,
    • Lectures,
    • Film screenings,
    • Classes, 
    • And other special events
  • Offer support and resources for members in a low income category 
  • Promotion of programs offered by other entities, community events and volunteer opportunities
  • Collaboration with other non-profit organizations and community groups
